Am găsit următoarea definiţie: "An Order to Spread of Record is a court order to note a fact outside of the case as a fact of the case. The fact would need be one that may affect the case in a substantive way. For example, the death of a party in a case is a fact not known to the court, until the fact of the death is "spread of record" and made part of the case. The death of one of the parties is a fact that substantively affects the case."
