Coated rolls have to be protected from mechanical damage by the use of suitable boxes providing stable journal bearing.
Furthermore, chemical and thermal influences have to be excluded as far as these exceed and/or affect the assured properties of the coatings / linings.
Please ensure that coated qualities that are for example not oil-resisting are always protected against any contact with oil during the whole transportation / storage process.
Oil-resisting qualities will not suffer any damage in this respect.
The same applies to other strains resulting from the exposure to ozone or solvents.
Transportation and storing of coated rolls upon minus temperatures require special precautions:
