In realtà non capisco la frase, credo si tratti del fatto che il convenuto dovrebbe presentare prove che lo giustifichino. Su IATE "show cause order" è tradotto come "ordinanza di giustificazione",
Si tratta di un divorzio del 1990 in UK, in cui la moglie ha chiesto il divorzio a seguito del tradimento del marito.
