I’m translating into Polish a document called ‘’’ negotiation report’’ which sets out what two parties – a vendor and a customer – have agreed in respect of a proposed deal between them. One of the sections reads as follows:
‘’Your supply shall be in accordance with the conditions specified in this Purchase Order as well as with the requirements of the attached documents, all of which shall be considered integral parts of this Purchase Order.
Any exception to the requirements specified above shall be rejected unless previously and specifically authorized in writing by XXX S.p.A.
The credit arising from Purchase Order may not be transferred to third parties (2nd subsection, Art. 1260 Italian Civil Code). Violation of this prohibition shall constitute serious breach of contract (1st subsection, Art. 1460 Italian C.C.) consequently entitling XXX S.p.A. to suspend payment.’’
I’ve posted my question in this language pair because the text makes reference to the Italian Civil Code. I can't speak Italian so I don't know what the CC article says. I’m not sure what ‘’credit’’ means in this particular context. I mean I have a vague understanding of the word as such, so further clarification would be very welcome.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF PURCHASE Article 1: Subject 1.1 The following general conditions of purchase (the "General Conditions") establish the contractual conditions governing the purchase of raw materials, semi-finished products or preparations (the "Goods") and of services (the "Services") by Stevanato Group S.p.A. or by one of the companies forming part of the Stevanato Group (the “Company”), from any supplier (the “Supplier”, and, together with the Company, the "Parties”, and individually, a “Party”), and with reference to any order relating to the Goods and Services (the “Order”) accepted by the Supplier.
Article 4: Payments
4.1 Except where agreed otherwise in writing in the Order, payments shall be made to the Supplier, via bank transfer, not later than 90 (ninety) days end of month from the issue of the invoice by the Supplier or from the performance of the inspections by the Company as per Article 9 below, if subsequent to the issue of the invoice.
4.2 Payments shall be made by the Company exclusively to the Supplier. In accordance with Article 1260, paragraph 2, of the Italian Civil Code, the Supplier's debt from the Company may not be assigned, unless the Company has consented in writing to the assignment.

Art. 1260 Cedibilità dei crediti
Il creditore può trasferire a titolo oneroso o gratuito il suo credito (1198) anche senza il consenso del debitore, purché il credito non abbia carattere strettamente personale o il trasferimento non sia vietato dalla legge (323, 447, 1823).
Le parti possono escludere la cedibilità del credito; ma il patto non è opponibile al cessionario, se non si prova che egli lo conosceva al tempo della cessione.

The original creditor is the assignor and the other person the assignee. Assignment can be upon consideration or gratuitous (Art 1260 Civil Code) ...
