English term

"Deep"

English to Hebrew Other Sports / Fitness / Recreation Description of a Soccer Game
A video game simulates a soccer game. Various stages of the game are described, and each one is preceded by "Deep", "Medium" or "High".

"
Deep - The team drop back and allow the opposition time in their own half in exchange for getting numbers behind the ball.

Medium - The team will start to defend in their opponent’s half, but not the full length of the pitch.
"

I have researched soccer and understand the descriptions, however am unsure how to translate the above mentioned adjective(s) in context.

Thank you.

ירידה להגנה בחצי המגרש של הקבוצה שלך

Played the game in my younger days.
Note from asker:
Gad, thanks for trying to help, but I'm seeking a one or two word phrase, because what you offered is in fact a description of what comes after the "deep". So you have the "Deep" and "medium" there, here's the "high": High - The team will apply full pressure in their opponent’s half. Wide midfielders and fullbacks will push high on the ball side to make it difficult for the opposition to play out. Maybe - Deep - הקבוצה שלנו Medium - גלישה למגרש היריבה High- שהייה במגרש הקבוצה היריבה ??

ליד קווי הצד של המגרש

One of the meanings of "deep" is "Sports. Located or taking place near the outer boundaries of the area of play: deep left field."
Regarding "medium"...
אני סבורה שהמשחק מתרחש באמצע המגרש ולא בפינות
Note from asker:
Shalom Pnina, Thanks for your offer of an explanation. What I do know for sure is that those terms denote the distance from the team's half of the pitch (=playing area in soccer). That is, deep means the play is close to their end of the field; medium - they're pushing foward, and high - they're at the "top" of the pitch - near the opponents' goal. So that's what I need to translate....Any thoughts?
