English term

resolved specificity

English to German Medical Medical: Instruments Diagnostics
Specificity was found to be 99.5 percent for the HBeAg and the aHBe assay had a resolved specificity of 98.2 percent.

Would that just be the same as "the determined specificity" so simply another way of saying "the specificity was found to be"?

ermittelte Spezifität

expected specificity compared with resolved (measured) specificity

Englisch:19 of the 64 discrepant results were resolved on the basis of the reference CMV antigenemia assay result in conjunction with CMV serology ...

resolved specificity

www.iqproducts.nl/catalog/docs/PI VIR-CMV 110 - ENG long - ...

"Compared with DFA alone the Hexaplex assay had sensitivity and specificity of 100% and 83%, respectively... All but 4 of the patient samples that were negative by DFA were positive by culture. These 4 samples had inadequate numbers of cells by our laboratory criteria. Using culture to resolve the Hexaplex assay-positive, DFA-negative samples improves the specificity to 95% and the PPV to 96%. ...
...By using culture for discrepant analysis compared with DFA, the resolved specificity is 99%, and the PPV is 93%."
