English term

rag

English to French Tech/Engineering Mining & Minerals / Gems Solvant extraction
We are talking about copper extraction, using solvants.
Context: "Load/Strip cycle testing was performed with both Tshifufia and Tshifufiamashi leach solutions." "“Rag is a relatively stable network of organic film that is suspended from the interface in the aqueous Phase. If organic matter, such as ‘rag’, builds up excessively, it will be swept out of the settler with the aqueous Phase and be lost from the solvent extraction unit."
Termium states that 'rag' is 'roche dure', but it does not match that description.
Et ce n'est pas non plus "réactivité alcali-granulat (RAG)"
