C'est un diagramme en barres, ou en colonnes, mais où seulement le niveau supérieur horizontal des colonnes est dessiné, et non pas les barres ou colonnes entières. Ce sont alors des traits horizontaux (occupant les sommets des colonnes ou barres virtuels), dessinés en face des valeurs des ordonnées du graphique.

It depends on your context, whether it is a polygone (line configuration), or horizontal lines representing different values of frequencies (Rooftop Chart= histogram with only the horizontal top parts of the bars).
A cumulative frequency distribution can show either the actual frequencies at or below each interval (as shown in the reference) or the percentage of the scores at or below each interval. The plot can be a histogram as shown here or a polygon.
A cumulative frequency distribution diagram can also be progressive or regressive, the same for the rooftop chart.
