It is up for bi-annual review: many stakeholders, including the line of business, will review the existing FG and bring changes forward in the document depending on market movement or changes in risk appetite considering loss experience in a certain industry.

These reviews could take many weeks to months to come to a consensus, depending on the magnitude of the changes or the size of the document.

Immediately following publication and upon mass consumption, while rare, there may be an oversight observed and if it is problematic, the FG, to maintain the same example, could be re-opened again immediately to correct the oversight.
This will usually be quicker process but still take several weeks and final approval may be truncated
