Der er tale om et klinisk forsøg, og jeg tøver med at bruge udtrykket "place of trial" fordi de hits jeg får på udtrykket alle vedrører trial i betydningen retssag.

Kan jeg bruge udtrykket eller er der noget andet der er bedre?

A general way of saying this.

trial location

A sort of blanket term, like 'place of trial'.

As you mention the test medicine in the same sentence, neither would be misunderstood.

To avoid the ambiguity, if it isn't clear from the context already. "Place" is less suitable.
