kugler

Medical
Medical (general)
gelatine capsules
I know this word has been asked before by Robot, and I've seen the words in my own dictionaries. What I'd like to know, please, is if any medical specialists know which word in English would be used to describe the content of a hard gelatine capsule containing 'kugler'.
Sentence: Hårde, opaque hvide gelatine kapsler, indeholdende små hvide kugler.
Is this likely to be spheres? In V&B, it's 'powder' when referring to guns.
TIA,
Helen

Actually it appears that \"granule\" is what the substance is called before it is coated. The coated version, which I believe you are talking about, is \"bead\" or \"pellet\" and these, in turn, are placed into capsules. See http://cgi.www.csma.ltd.uk/application_notes/pharm.pdf
