Lerchenborg and Callundborg Ladegaards estates
Declined
They are owners of estates, which is more than a farm and less than a manor.

a Ladegaard= a Poor farm

as the Ladegård is the Poor Farm then a Ladegård Gods must be an Estate large enough that they have several Farm Leases and also the Poor Farm for the territory

definately no S in the NAME Ladegaard, the name originated with the home farm under the Royal Court in the middle ages which was used as a work shelter for destitude people until \"Sundholm\" was build in 1908. When a person was down and out he was called \"Ready for the Ladegaard\".

: it is Ladegaards with the S on the end of the name. There could be a spelling error in the document. In this context it would be Lærkeborg or Kalundborg ladegaards estates

the s does NOT belong in this name.

: I can agree with the general description "an estate large enough that they have several farm leases ", but not with Poor Farm, that's something else.
