冲击试验仪是以一定质量的重锤从高处自由坠落在涂膜样板上，使样板与涂膜在经受强力冲击下产生伸长变形而不引起破损的最大高度。通常用N·cm(kgf·cm)表示。ISO 6272—1993改称为落锤试验，可分为正冲和反冲。涂膜面向上为正冲，涂膜面向下为反冲。对管状涂漆样品可采用摆锤式撞击仪进行测试。
