Chinese term

股別

Chinese to English Law/Patents Law (general)
This term appears on a Taiwanese court document as a subheading, just above the case reference number and date. There is no context as such- the line reads only
股別: 愛
Insights into the meaning of the 愛 in this context also appreciated. The document relates to an adoption case.

 means "which section?", the same way ┦ means "which gender?".  doesn't necessary have to be translated as "section", but that's how we routinely treat it at our law office. For : 稲, "Section: Ai" would be okay. The character following  is always chosen on a whim. It might be the last character in the section chief's name, or her daughter's name, or whatever. Since it's impossible to know the ㄥ珿 behind 稲, all you can do is romanize it.
