This is from a brochure for a Castillian Spanish ear, nose and throat doctor's practice. The client wants UK English and they want the information as user friendly as possible since it's for patients.
Entendemos por disfonía todo lo referente a ronquera, *voz tomada*, disfonía, carraspeo, corto de respiración, asfixia, dolor de garganta y sensación de cuerpo extraño en la garganta.

Another option. It depends on how you want to translate "disfonía"; if you think "disphonia" is too technical for this brochure and put "voice /disorders/problems" or something like that, using "hoarseness" would let you keep from repeating "voice".
