If these are the requests for payment for services that have been done by the contractor for the client, as I understand from the Arabic, they are called invoices. Just like in translation, they show details of the work done and the agreed upon payment specifics and the due amounts.

There are many different acceptable forms to express the same thing. Likewise, those two expressions: payment requests and clearances are widly used by American contracors. By the way, I was trying to add your term to mine but it would look too lengthy.I am totally satisfied with your answer.
