The hard part about interpreting and translating is making it seem easy. Both need linguistic creativity and specialist knowledge. And that is precisely what I have. Plus the confidence that comes from knowing not guessing. Try me.

As a trained banker and holder of a university diploma in translation I have been working many years in both industries.
Before starting my freelance career in the mid-90th, I worked six years as an employed interpreter and translator in a team of only two for a large international corporation with 25,000 employees focussing on business, financial, legal and technical documents. As a freelancer I have been working for EU, government and public institutions, international corporations, MSEs and SMEs as well as private companies and individuals.
Having been a sworn-in interpreter for the German courts (English) and certified translator (English, Spanish) for many years, I passed ATA's certification exam in the language pair English into German in 2009 and I am ISO 17100-certified since 2015.
Over my 35+ years in the industry I developed an in-depth knowledge and skills in numerous additional fields and topics apart from my original majors in law and finance making me a "specialist-generalist".
To maintain such top-level expertise continuous professional education is a must and usually adds up to more than 3 weeks per year.
My focus is on establishing long-standing relationships with clients, colleagues and selected LSPs who value high-quality language services at fair rates from a true professional and expert in her fields.
