Bio
I am a recent graduate from The George Washington University in Washington DC with a double major in International Affairs and English, as well as a minor in Chinese Language and Literature.

When I entered The George Washington University, I realized that my language skills can be put into use when I saw a billboard ad calling for bilingual applicants. I became a qualified bilingual advocate against domestic violence by the Asian Pacific Islander Domestic Violence Resource Project after an intense fifty-two hour training on domestic violence, basic laws, and also interpretation skills. I committed three-four hours each week interpreting at a women’s survivor group and also for appointments between lawyers and survivors for the three years I was in Washington, DC. I am a qualified interpreter by The Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center where I also took on many assignments translating legal documents. My work with these two agencies as well as tutoring Chinese has pushed me to continue improving my vocabulary, interpretation skills, and understanding of both languages and cultures through independent study and constant practice.
