- While studying to become a Translator, I acquired a 5-year experience teaching English at Schools and Institutes.
- Just before graduating, I studied a semester at The College of Charleston, South Carolina, where I deepened my knowledge of American Literature, British Literature and Computer Science.
- I’m a certified (sworn) Translator and as such belong to the Colegio de Traductores Públicos de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires (http://www.traductores.org.ar/).
- Ever since I got my Translation Degree, I’ve been working as a Bilingual Executive Assistant in an English automation company that has a branch in Argentina.
- During my first 6 years in the company, I worked for the Contract Manager, the Sales Manager and the Latin America Technical Manager. In 2002, I was promoted once again and, since then, I’ve been assisting the President and the CFO of Latin America.
- For all of them I’ve been translating all kind of documentation (contracts, purchase orders, technical documents, financial reports, etc.). Besides, all our inter-company communications are bilingual and I’m in charge of the distribution of announcements within our region.
- I have experience working in a fast-paced environment. My work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofreading materials.
- I proficiently use PC products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Explorer, Hyperion Enterprise, etc.). I’m able to create high-quality documents, advanced spreadsheets, creative presentations, accurate graphs and other documents. I love technology and I own a state-of-the-art PC running Windows and Office XP.
- I have an energetic personality with the ability to be proactive and self-motivated. That’s why I always enjoy translating for other companies that need my services as a free-lance translator.
- I also have a Diploma in Secretarial Administration issued by The London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Examinations Board and I’m presently studying Brazilian Portuguese.
- Reasonable prices for quality work. Rates are negotiable with the client and will be based on the nature and length of each piece of translation.
