What translation project are you working on right now?
I've been updating my profile on LinkedIn to gain more visibility, also I've been spreading the word for CLEAR Global end-of-year language inclusion campaign . I've recently taken part in a recording test in my native language (250 sentences), and now I've just applied for joining a talent pool in AI training tasks in my language combination (EN<>PTBR). I've just finished translating 3151 words for WHO, at TWB, about Tropical Dermatology (an overview of skin diseases seen in the tropics, emphasis on medical diagnoses / public health importance. Time for tea! Just finished translating 2 projects. The 1st, subtitles, English to Portuguese (Brazil), 1640 words on Ophtalmic education on low-resource and underserved countries. The 2nd project, a text, 1274 words, the same pair of languages on Ophtalmic E-Learning for webnar. Both non-profitable services (TWB). Break time! I've just had my first experience using Memsource, translating a project English UK to Brazilian Portuguese, 1547 words, for TWB. Finished translating a text about food safety and industry 4.0, and now I'm trying to engage on the Humanitarian Translation course at TWB where I'm starting out as Volunteer Translator. |
