Bio

I am a Japanese Canadian who grew up in Niigata, Japan and immigrated to Vancouver, Canada soon after high school. I then earned my diploma in Robotics Engineering at the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in 2007 and I've worked for a software company in Vancouver for 14 years as QA.

Since I became a Proz.com member in 2018, I have worked over 150 short/long term translation/proofreading/voice-over/transcription projects with over 15 different clients from all over the world. 

Due to my strong background with IT, my specialty subjects are technical translations for software/hardware products. I have translation experience with technical user manuals for a 3D scanner, IP security camera, Robotic arm, project management software, industrial dish washer and many more. I mostly use TRADOS for my work, but I can also use memoQ and other major CAT tools as needed.

I also love to work on voice-over projects. I offer competitive price and quality recording with professional-grade audio equipment as well as sound-editing software. You can also find me on voicebunny.com to hear voice over samples.
