Hey there! I'm a freelance translator/copywriter based in Brazil with reasonable experience writing for the web, among a few other things, usually from English into Brazilian Portuguese, but also the other way around.
I've done a little bit of everything so far, including a few gigs as a copywriter for a handful of advertising companies and some social media jobs too. I've translated loads of technical stuff, from financial reports to clinical trials, with some fashion-related stuff in between for brands such as Lacoste, Bottega Veneta, Versace, etc.
Amidst all that I even managed to translate some books: "Verdade Oficial: Nos Bastidores do Pantera" [working title for Official Truth, 101 Proof: The Inside Story of Pantera] released by Edições Ideal. I was also responsible for the Brazilian edition of The Data Journalism Handbook 2.
I mostly deal with communication-adjacent stuff related to the internet, technology, games, and music. On occasion, I also do some subtitling, as well as translate some marketing materials and presentations for clients. I'm also an experienced content analyst/transcriptionist, mainly dealing in the fields of healthcare and medical content in general.
My goal is to strike a balance between quality and agility.
