Hello,

I'm not sure I am posting at the right forum. If I am not, I apologise.

I just completed the purchase and activation of Wordfast Pro and Classic through the proz.com TGB. I was foolish enough to do so without reading the End User Licence Agreement. You can imagine my disappointment when I read that my licence will only be valid for 3 years.

I was really distressed by the fact that it wasn't mentioned on the proz.com TGB page. When you sell a tool to professionals, who also happen to be your customers, I think you should inform them what kind of investment they are making. It never occurred to me that Wordfast would come with a limited period licence, as all the software I use come with an unlimited time licence (as I think is the case with most other colleagues). I am not implying that I was lured in a bad purchase, but I am saying that if I had known that Wordfast had such a limitation, I would definitely have thought twice before buying. Anyway, the only party to blame is me, for not reading the Licence Agreement beforehand...

That is standard with wordfast Nov 5, 2009

And only need the license if you have to download wordfast again because your computer has crashed or you've upgraded your equipment.

you can use WF for as long as you want Nov 5, 2009

You only have to re-license if you need to re-install/upgrade after the initial 3-year period.
