Dieser Vertrag betrifft die Einrichtung und den Betrieb eines Application Service Providers und DATA-Centers für LRIT-Aufgaben gemäß den IMO-Regularien (MSC.1/Circ. 1256 vom 5. Juni 2008 ff) zum 30. Juni 2009. Es liegt in der alleinigen Verantwortlichkeit des Flaggenstaates, bei der IMO seine Autorisierung zu beantragen und damit den Zugang zu den IMO-Daten, zum IDE und zum DDP zu erhalten. Dies ist unabdingbare Voraussetzung, um den mit diesem Vertrag angestrebten Zweck zu erreichen. .
II. Vorbemerkungen
Der nachfolgende Vertrag soll dazu dienen, die vertragliche Kommunikation zwischen den Parteien und die administrative Durchführung zu regeln. Während der Einrichtung und des Aufbaus des Projektes und der nachfolgenden Vorgänge können alternative vertragliche Regelungen für bestimmte Zwecke geschlossen werden. Diese treten außer Kraft, sobald das DATA-Center seine Arbeit aufgenommen hat.
Translation - English I. Object of the Contract
This Contract concerns the implementation and the operation of an application service provider and DATA centre for LRIT duties in accordance with IMO Regulations (MSC.1/Circ. 1256 of 5th June, 2008 ff) for the 30th June, 2009. It is the sole responsibility of the country of registration, to apply to the IMO for its authorisation and thereby to receive access to the IMO data, the IDE and the DDP. This is an essential condition in order to achieve the declared purpose with this Contract. .
II. Preliminary Matters
The following Contract should serve to govern contractual communication between the parties and administrative performance. Alternative contractual regulations may be made for specific purposes during the establishment and the design of the project and of the following procedures. These shall expire as soon as the DATA Centre commences its work.

I was a Solicitor of the Supreme Court from 1976 until 1999, when I left the law. I worked primarily in family law, dealing with divorce and children disputes (for seven years, I was on the Law Society Children Panel, entitling me to act for children in care proceedings), but I retained, throughout my practice as a lawyer, a small circle of commercial clients, who looked to me for all their needs. Much of my time was spent in dictating and proof reading documents. Though I sometimes used translators and interpreters, I used my knowledge of French and of Italian (having studied these languages to a high level at school) and of German and Spanish (having studied these languages privately after leaving school) to good effect when faced with foreign documents.
