A native Russian speaker with a meticulous approach to the translation process. Extensive experience of technical, scientific and business texts.
About me
My first project as a paid translator was tackling Richard Koch’s international best-seller on productivity The 80/20 Principle. In the 14 years since then I’ve translated everything from tender documents to technical user manuals. I’ve done work for a range of multinational clients, including Alcatel, Siemens, Microsoft and Volvo, and built a range of linguistic and project management skills in the process.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me about your project. I’d be happy to take the time to discuss it with you.
What I can offer you
My methodical approach and consistent output means I can guarantee you precise work that will always be delivered on time.
I deal equally well with the accuracy demanded by technical texts and the more subtle messaging of marketing materials. And I’m able to deal with a wide range of document formats, from heavily tagged source code files to CAD drawings. You can be confident that your files will still be fully functional when you get them back from me.
I can translate between 2,000 and 4,000 source words per day.
My services include:
English to Russian translation
Editing and proofreading
Translation of technical drawings and diagrams
Terminology extraction and glossary preparation
Compliance checks and translation quality reviews
To ensure consistency, accuracy, and efficient delivery I use the latest computer assisted translation (CAT) tools. Fuzzy matching and reps discounts may apply to CAT-based projects.
