Hello everybody!

Does anybody have experience with and/or an explanation for this problem:

After opening an .inx file in TagEditor 8 and saving it again some text elements in the document appear misplaced. The respective document is a brochure with table elements, and some of the table content in the target document does not appear in the proper place.
No changes whatsoever have been made to the document, it has simply been opened and saved as target again.

Task for DTP departments Jun 25, 2008

Hi Boris,
this is usually due to lack of space on a particular page. Note that translations are sometimes much longer than the original text and thus require more space on the page. The DTP specialist should simply import the INX file and adjust any graphic/text elements as required. This is not a task for translators.

Adjust layout…… Jun 25, 2008

I had a similar problem before, in the case, it's some text and layouts changed, and I don't know what's wrong with it, so I have to adjust the layouts manually based on a referenced PDF file. I think you need to adjust the size of table. Maybe it’s just the table is overflow the box.

Regards,
Han Li

Thanks, but... Jun 26, 2008

Thank you, but no... this has nothing to do with the frame sizes. The text is really misplaced, e.g. it appears in the wrong row or column.
