________

Russian to English Art/Literary Poetry & Literature science fiction
I don't think this sentence is a complete sentence and I believe it's missing the subject here. Can you please let me know your opinion on it? Is it a proper sentence in Russian?

Thanks in advance!

________

Why would you need a subject here: ) ?
The syntax is correct, and the context will supply the "subject".
Say, someone describes an intergalactic being, and there is a list of its "abilities"
The imaginary sentence goes:

It all depends on the context, but the sentence is perfectly normal

agree Sofia Gutkin : Vladimir is right, the context should give you the subject. Russian doesn't always require a subject in a sentence, unlike English.

agree Boris Shapiro : Cf. 'To die-- Perchance to dream'. English doesn't always need a subject either (just a Captain Obvious moment to Sofia' comment).
