What is a spinner flask used for?
Spinner flasks are used as bioreactors for growing suspension cultures in liquid media (Kim et al., 2004). These flasks are stirred tank bioreactors, in which impeller mixing maintains the cells in suspension and the fluid movement helps in mass transport of nutrients and wastes. - www.t.ly/9QNoi

A Spinner is a type of bioreactor which features an impeller, stirrer or similar device to agitate the contents (usually a mixture of cells, medium and products like proteins that can be harvested). The vessels are usually made out of glass or stainless steel with port holes to accommodate sensors, - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spinner_(cell_culture)

A cell suspension or suspension culture is a type of cell culture in which single cells or small aggregates of cells are allowed to function and multiply in an agitated growth medium, thus forming a suspension. - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suspension_culture

posiew w bioreaktorze z mieszadłem

A Spinner is a type of bioreactor which features an impeller, stirrer or similar device to agitate the contents (usually a mixture of cells, medium and products like proteins that can be harvested). The vessels are usually made out of glass or stainless steel with port holes to accommodate sensors, Medium input or gas flow.

Spinner type vessels are used for mammalian or plant cell culture. They are adequate for cell suspensions and attachment dependent cell types.

kultury w zawiesine

A cell suspension or suspension culture is a type of cell culture in which single cells or small aggregates of cells are allowed to function and multiply in an agitated growth medium, thus forming a suspension. Suspension culture is one of the two classical types of cell culture, the other being adherent culture. - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suspension_culture

Linie komórkowe mogą rosnąć jako:

kultury adherentne – komórki przylegają do powierzchni naczynia hodowlanego i namnażają się w monowarstwie. Wymagają pasażowania, kiedy hodowla staje się konfluentna, tzn. komórki pokrywają całą powierzchnię naczynia i w coraz większym zagęszczeniu występują zawieszone w pożywce. .

Do komórek rosnących w zawiesinie należą komórki hemopoetyczne.
