Announcing Connect improvements for January 2008

The ProZ.com Connect team is pleased to kick off the new year with some new updates and enhancements to ProZ.com Connect.

  • New search criteria (WWA, CVs, availability, complete profiles)
  • Enhanced communication, job posting, directory
  • New screencast: posting a job
  • 40,000 complete profiles and growing
  • Survey: Help us serve you better

New search criteria available

At the request of Connect users, it is now possible to search for candidates using a number of new search criteria.

  • WWA - Search candidates with WWA (willing to work again) feedback .
  • CVs on file - Restrict searches to candidates with CVs/resumes on file.
  • Complete profiles - Option to search only those who have provided required profile information.
  • Availability - Easily find candidates based on their reported availability.

    Enhanced communication, job posting, directory

  • The quoting process has been simplified, allowing candidates to view your message, job details, complete a screening questionnaire, and submit a quote, all from the same page.
  • It is easier to send messages and job postings to those in your own private vendor database, and your private vendors are more thoroughly integrated in the Connect directory
  • Enhancements have been made to the way the Connect directory displays rates, taglines, availability, etc.
  • Store your own internal job ID with a job posting, which is referenced in all notifications about that job

    Profile completion campaign

    Our ongoing campaign to encourage professionals to provide essential information in their ProZ.com profiles was a great success in 2007. Currently, over 40,000 profiles have all essential fields completed, and more profile information is completed every day.
